The computer software tool Interactive Thermodynamics: IT provides an important adjunct to learning engineering thermodynamics and solving engineering problems. The program is built around an equation solver enhanced with thermodynamic property data and other valuable features. My tutorials are a free multimedia thermodynamics text; Use the tutorials instead of a textbook or as a supplement to the paper textbook your instructor required you to buy Either way, you win because LearnThermo.com is free. A review of “IT: Interactive Thermodynamics” Third Edition, Developed by Intellipro, Inc. Moran & Howard N. Shapiro, 1996 New York, Wiley ISBN £22.50.

SimulationsMany simulations now run on a browser. These browser-based simulations are shown with blue letters on their subject pages. The other CDF simulations (shown in green) can be downloaded and used offline with the Wolfram CDF plug-in. Most are also available on the Wolfram Demonstration Project website. Most thermodynamics and kinetics/reactor design simulations have an accompanying screencast showing how to use them. We currently have more than 210 simulations, and we are continuously improving and adding new simulations. Please contact us at learncheme@gmail.com if you identify any problems with the simulations or if you have suggestions for simulations we might prepare. For information about the simulations and their use, go to Wolfram Demonstrations.
